Why I Teach At Flirt: It is my calling to teach. Pole is my passion. The fact I can do those things together is beyond fulfilling. Pole is more than my workout, it is powerful self-expression. It fosters a sisterhood I previously never experienced. It is a privilege to share that with as many people as I am able.
What I Want For My Students: Pole for nobody but yourself. Success at pole means you're enjoying yourself and growing as a person.
One Last Thing I Want You To Know: Self-doubt is my worst enemy, and one I am forever locked into a bloody battle with. The secret that I re-learn every time is that I am the one who decides the winner. Self-actualization is a choice aw

Favorite Songs To Dance To: It depends on how I am feeling... Porn Star Dancing, Just A Fool, GirlCrush, Often, The Hills, songs with explicit lyrics (yes, I admit that), Young and Beautiful, Say You Love Me... anything that helps express a feeling or feed a need at a particular time.

Why I Teach At Flirt: I started taking classes at Flirt when it was at the original studio in EastTown. I have been an anxious person my entire life, and wanted to challenge my anxiety and push myself out of my comfort zone. I met Amy (founder of Flirt) and I asked her if she thought I really could learn pole. I honestly had no idea how much this would help my confidence and just make me feel good. I love the amazing connection I experience when I am at Flirt. It nurtures my soul. The bottom line is that I love people and I love helping people.
What I Want For My Students: I want to help create an environment for them to allow themselves to be vulnerable and try new things, without the worry of being judged. I want them to feel supported, loved, and encouraged.
One Last Thing I Want You To Know: If you think you are uncoordinated and clumsy... we are kindred spirits. It usually takes me longer to learn new things, but I think this helps me with my teaching, because I've experienced struggles and also really appreciate when something finally clicks in my brain. I have a tendency to say silly, goofy things(my family, students, and friends will agree with this), but I have a big heart and love people. I love animals, especially cats. (Shoot, I think that was more than one last thing.)

Favorite Songs To Dance To: It depends on the mood that I am in. If I’m feeling really sappy or sad, I love to dance to anything by Sam Smith or Let Me Hold You by Josh Krajcik. If I’m feeling like a badass and want to feel alive, I like to dance to anything by Skrillex or Bad by David Guetta. The days that I’m feeling super sexy, I’ll play Lioness, Hours by FKA Twigs, or anything by The Weeknd. If I just plain need to dance it out, I’ll throw on songs like Beneath your Beautiful or Bless the Broken Road or Girl Crush.

Why I Teach At Flirt: It’s my passion…..not just pole, but to inspire women. Being able to share my story and my life with a beautiful community and being able to introduce a safe haven for women to feel secure in themselves is the most humbling, honoring peach I could ever wish for.
What I Want For My Students: I want each of my students to feel sexy, strong and confident. I want them to be able to free the inner goddess within them and be thankful for each curve of uniqueness they have. I want them to feel empowered by the physical strength pole gives them. I want them to be able to honestly look at their reflection in the mirror and say “you are beautiful”.
One Last Thing I Want You To Know: You are an amazing creature of this earth and you are capable of so much more that you think you are. Life is about living and as a woman we tend to always live for others instead of ourselves. Take time for you, no matter what it is, to connect your mind, your body and your spirit. Student or not, I see the beauty in you. I believe in you. Oh – and – free laughs, smiles, hugs and more 24/7! Come in and share your story with me!!!

Favorite Songs To Dance To: Depends on my mood! Sometimes it's AC/DC or the classic "Pour Some Sugar on Me" by Def Leppard. If I'm feeling more dramatic, it can be "Say Something" by A Great Big World or anything by Sam Smith. Rihanna is kind of a fun go to, so I kind of love dancing to it all!

Why I Teach At Flirt: Flirt has completely changed my definition of fitness, what is sexy, and has transformed the way I think about my body. This studio has created such a wonderful, safe, comforting, encouraging environment that truly celebrates women and I am so excited and humbled to have the chance to be a part of Flirt and spread the message of empowerment to other women. It is so easy to get lost in obligations and errands and day-to-day life that we can lose sight of taking care of ourselves and Flirt has created a safe and inviting atmosphere that allows us to remember who we are as women and gives us time every week to take care of ourselves first before anyone or anything else.
What I Want For My Students: I want my students to feel sexy, strong, and powerful! I want them to be able to leave their obligations and responsibilities at the door and unleash their inner goddess. I want them to love themselves and know that they are beautiful, and sexy, and an amazing person!
One Last Thing I Want You To Know: It is the journey that matters! Everyone's pole journey is different and while it can be hard, don't compare yourself to anyone else! Everyone comes to Flirt from different backgrounds and fitness levels and it can be easy to get caught up in how other students are doing, but what is important is why you are here and how far you have come, not someone else!
